University Congregational United Church of Christ in Seattle, Washington is a progressive liberal Protestant church. We see ourselves as an inclusive church, open to diverse people and beliefs, but rooted in God’s extravagant love, mercy and justice. At the start of every worship service our clergy declare, “You are welcome here, whether you are a believer, a seeker, or a doubter. We pray that you will be met here by the living Christ.”
We are a congregation committed to deepening faith and building relationships. We seek to become disciples of Jesus so that we can say “Yes” to God with our lives.
We have created this blog so that we can stay connected with each other and share with others. It is a way to share what your church leaders are doing and thinking, as we all—the leadership and the church community—imagine love and justice.
